My life is messy, cluttered, and busy. I myself don't always remember these days won't be here forever (in fact, sometimes I'm wishing them away). Perhaps you've experienced moments when you suddenly realize your kid has grown significantly without you noticing. This happened to me when my daughter's head hit the counter, and it felt like just days before she was too short to reach it. It's times like these when I'm glad to have real life photos to look back and reminisce about how small they really were.
Don't let "these days" become "those days" without documenting the moments.

I live in Alexandria, VA and love documenting and photographing the full range of diverse families and moments surrounding me in not only my own neighborhood of Del Ray, Old Town, and Potomac Yards, but also those unique families living in Washington DC and Maryland.
Being a documentary family photographer in the DC region is pretty much the best gig I could dream of. In-home photography brings out the magic of your family connections, but if you're looking to show your family out-and-about, the DC area has some of the best locations to capture the fun.
